HIIT is a great way to get your heart rate up and get in a tough cardio workout without the boredom of running on a treadmill for what feels like forever! It also allows you to get creative and throw some resistance training in there.
For this High Intensity Interval Training Workout you will need a set of dumbbells, a round resistance band, a jump rope and a box, bench, or step! If you don’t have a resistance band, you can omit and do regular old body weight squats and glute bridges in their place. You can also use an invisible jump rope or replace with high knees or jumping jacks. You will still feel the burn, I promise.
High Intensity Interval Training Workout:
Complete each set as quickly as possible, without sacrificing form, and only taking rests when needed. Complete Circuit 1 (3-5) times before moving on to Circuit 2.
